@stux the RSSBridge link on the about page sends you to an apparent phishing site. at least Chrome seems to think so and when you choose “go to the site anyway” it takes you to a login form and the address bar says eureka122.com.

@stux Howlin’ Hobbit IS my “real name.” my “government name” is different but, except for my sister, *nobody* calls me anything but Hobbit. I taught my nieces & nephew (sis’s kids) to call me Hobbit (or Uncle Hobbit) if they actually wanted a response.the excuse given for requiring the gov’t name is to “make sure” I can be “held responsible” for my comments. I stand behind every comment I make, unless I’m wrong; in which case I apologize & thank whomever corrected me.that’s called “honor.”

@JohnShirley2023 I don’t recall muckers in “The Sheep Look Up” but it followed “Stand On Zanzibar” which *did* have them and, IIRC, those two books were part of a (4 part?) thematically linked series. I’ve only read TSLU once but SOZ is way up high on my fave SF list and I’ve read it at least 4 times.

I’m usually not one to beg for boosts, but this requires the 6 degrees of separation treatment.I want to migrate to a more musician centric instance. reading all the “official” guides leaves my head spinning. a while ago someone posted a step-by-step process that all fit into one toot.
