@fribbledom my Linux machine just today crashed due to its inability to handle OOM. How does windows handle it so seamlessly? Do they dynamically allocate more swap?

@Gina I love Discovery! It took getting past the 4th episode though. Picard and Discovery have a different feel compared with the other ST shows, much darker less episodic. Once I got past those facts, it really got into them. Burnham is by far my favorite ST character.

@Ted I think you would be stirring up shit by sending that email, but maybe they need it? If you think the contractor in question will not receive remedial training to ensure such an event does not happen again, then maybe you speaking up might change something. I would try to be nice about it in any case.

@linmob yeah, that's what I have been hearing. I use MMS almost exclusively with everyone I know here in the US. I interact with too many nontechnical individuals for me to start suggesting alternative messaging apps. Maybe someday MMS/RCS will work.

@Ezra @talkpine @PINE64 I have tried UT, but their MMS messaging is also broken. There are some people who have made real progress in getting MMS functionality integrated into ofono and modemmanager stacks, but I think they need to be "cleaned up" and their functionality incorporated into Chatty/Chat.
