PSA if you are using the stock Misskey Docker with local files (as opposed to object storage) and upgrading, you will need to change the permissions of your "files" volume.

I will never be able to understand people picking VS Code of all things as an example of reasons for why Electron or Microsoft apps are heavy or bad in other ways. It's probably the only Electron app that's actually on par or better performing than counterparts written with different frameworks.So many better examples: MS Teams, Slack, Discord, ...
