@selea The bad thing is security, IMO even monopoly services like Gmail have better security compared to a self hosted email service. No need to explain why

Heyyy, I've heard about Mastodon for quite a while but didn't really get interested on it. Realized I have pretty much no social media accounts at all, and I think it would be cool to take some things out of my chest from time to time heh

PSA: If you are in high school/college, and you have a mail address with the domain of it, you can sign up for several subscriptions and serviced that have a student plan. Hey, I need some help trying to figure something out. I have a Lemmy acc and a Mastodon one, using Jerboa and Mastodon Mobile respectively.I heard good things about kbin, how it can show and interact with posts and content from multiple services in the fediverse (so I wouldn't need to have different accounts for each thing I guess?), and I'm interested.Do I just make an account and delete my Lemmy and Mastodon ones or is there some kind of magical migration button that exports my stuff...
