@EnjoyTheSearch @redwhitebluedude I think it's because releasing the evidence before it gets to the courts will allow them plenty of time to muddy the waters for the high level players, and with the assumption of innocence before guilty, it will be very difficult to convict. it will also be very difficult to find a jury pool not tainted. at least with the evidence out is that they might at least live free but unable to walk on an open street without public disdain.

Perhaps it is just Trump's character, that he couldn't bring himself to say "I concede" or even mention Biden's name in his concession, which is really a douche thing to do, leaving some kind of wiggle-room for interpretation. the whole march to the capitol thing was reckless. He probably won't be there for Biden's inauguration. shame on him, Flynn, Powell and others for igniting false hope even at the end. there was no "additional evidence next week". there was no plan.

@StevenDouglas doesnt matter. Biden was sworn in and lives in the white house now. No one is gonna rush into congress with the constitution shouting "wait wait! Stop everything! We didnt follow the precise wording of the constitution! Redo everything!" with everyone in congress slapping their forehead going "oh, darnit!"
