I'm getting pretty confident telling people if none of the following #VPNs are well ranked on a ‘review’ site - drop the site ❌- @mullvadnet- @ivpn - @protonvpn - WindscribeSites with the best #privacy & #security reputation consistently have these as their top winners, and for good reason - they’re pushing the envelope on keeping you safe, without insane sponsor/affiliate deals to buy out websites.

It's hilarious how many people left comments on our Mastodon video saying 'it's taken over by the woke left'Like my goodness...just do a BASIC WEB SEARCH of how Mastodon works so you can have the bare minimum understanding to know how stupid you sound when you think a federated platform can be 'taken over' by any particular demographic. It's the closest thing to a public high school for the internet. Niches in the same place.

Firefox killing SSB support (what people generally simplify as “PWA”s in chromium-based browsers) is IMO one of the largest mistakes Mozilla has ever made.Even Apple is hopping over to proper PWA support. It’s ultra cringe for Firefox to have killed this off. The future of software is web-based IMO(Note: I’m just complaining. This is not new news. I’m just perpetually frustrated by this decision)

WhatsApp has been kicking ass on new features, and it’s exposing some shortcomings in Signal’s priorities the last 1-2 years. It makes Signal a tougher sell, especially for outside the US where WhatsApp dominates. Just a few cool features now missing from Signal: Companion mode to use Whastapp on multiple phones, chat lock, editing messages.Clearly, WhatsApp has almost unlimited resources, vs Signal is a small team releasing features with safer implementations, but the avg user won’t care.

And I’m a massive fan of signal, and even support them monthly. Just voicing my concerns if Signal can’t keep up with features found in their competitors and how it’ll make life more challenging for those of us on Signal :)

Remember when #facebook turned into a dumpster fire, so people migrated to Instagram because it was a nice clean experience? Now Instagram has followed in Facebook’s steps and they’ve released the nice clean #threads - it doesn’t even have advertisements! I wonder where this is going to head after the sheep finish migrating 🤦Who in their right minds thinks #meta will do the right thing for consumers? I feel crazy watching this unfold.
