@entreprecariat +1 for .pages. Maybe not the right way to describe it but feels like skeuomorphic file extension. Like, I can't think of any other extensions which try to describe it's real world equivalent (e.g. audio files aren't .music)

rant time: I've recently had to cancel doing four talks or workshops at universities either because they won't pay enough, won't pay for travel (so it comes out of my fee), have an overly complex payment system (usually requiring me to technically become an employee for what is a freelance engagement), or are asking me to do way too much for the fee that they're offering.The meagre pay is usually down to "university policy" and not usually the fault of the person inviting me.Sometimes I'm being invited to talk to undergrads about my practice and give advice about being a successful artist (lol that they think I'm successful). My main bit of advice? GET PAID!!!It'd be majorly hypocritical of me to tell the students to get paid whilst simultaneously accepting low pay from the institution that invited me. It's depressing that this is the world universities are setting up for their studentsI know I'm better off turning down these work "offers" so that I can focus on getting paid elsewhere but I also am aware I'm turning down work
