I just love #orgMode's tables! So practical.Today's discovery is vectorial columns multiplication (as in (@II..@III)*(@II$2..@III$2)). And also the date function is very useful.

@mitchmarq42xyz I'm assuming you are talking about refilled text. For a single paragraph, you could use C-u align-regexp with the regexp ^\(.*\) (selects the whole line) and the parenthesis group -1 (to add spaces on the left of the group instead of the right). For several paragraphs to have the same alignment, you would need align-entire to align the whole region. To control which alignment rule is applied, you could define a new function for the purpose of right-aligning text:(defun align-region-right (beg end) "Right-align refilled paragraphs." (interactive "r") (let ((rules '((right-align-paragraphs (regexp . "^\\(.*\\)") ; select whole line as one group (justify . t) ; align right side of group (spacing . 0) ; minimum number of spaces on the left (separate . entire))))) (align beg end 'entire rules nil)))Also if you have anything like electric-indent or aggressive-indent enabled, they might undo the alignment, depending on your major mode! With that and my variable-pitch font, I was wondering what was wrong with my function :')

@mitchmarq42xyz Uh actually I just found out you can also directly align right when you refill paragraphs, with (fill-region beg end 'right)...I never use refilled text and I was too happy of having recently discovered and almost understood align-regexp 😅

I'm starting the next module of my conversion training from physics to informatics today, and it's about OOP in java. Not a language I'm particularly interested in (I need time to finish the CS50 class, and go though SICP and learn scheme so I can understand what I'm doing with guix!), but I guess expanding my knowledge is good anyway…But the accompanying book is 1250 pages of dense German 😭
