       @grammargirl Great thread! My substack newsletter is my main focus, so I jumped onto Notes when it came out, but I don't see the appeal at all. I'm not going to subscribe to all those newsletters, and my readers aren't substackers, so anything I post is just going straight into a void of nothingness...

       @grammargirl Me too! I've just been trying out Post. Much more potential there, I think, but no content about (or interest in) linguistics at ALL right now. Another void for me to shout into 😆

       @grammargirl me too. It's just about speed. I used to make full sentences, and say please and thank you, but the answers are of the same quality without all that so I stopped bothering! (I mainly use ChatGPT as a thesaurus, so lots of short queries.)
