@paul_schmehl That's kind of backwards. Those four states are trying to illegally invalidate the votes of 74+ million legal voting Americans.

@J_Dub @EarlThePearls @Debradelai Unless the lab is crazy enough to corner one, no problem. They'll defend themselves if attacked, but won't see a big dog as potential prey. Plus a lab isn't stealthy enough to sneak up on a bobcat. If there are two adults in close proximity, it must be breeding season in your area. Otherwise they're solitary.Females stick to their territory, the males come and go through multiple females' home ranges.

@RGReader While my power company had sufficient capacity, the Southwest Power Pool forced them to run rolling blackouts anyway. Then they issued press releases telling people NOT to use fireplaces or woodstoves during the blackouts because they would "suck more heat out of the house up the chimney than they produce."Years ago we had a snowstorm that left 10' drifts across roads. My power was out for a week. It was great. With my woodstove, oil lamps, and books it was an awesome vacation.

@StevenDouglas @Weathergirl "Stir fried ANYTHING" reminds me of a college friend's mom. Her parents immigrated from Taiwan before she was born. We'd sometimes go over to her house for lunch. Her mom was an awesome cook and used fried rice as the universal way to deal with any and all leftovers. One day we had meatloaf fried rice for lunch, and it was awesome.

@prchrskd @KsSandHillPlum I doubt a bobcat would see commercial cat food as edible. The rehab bobcats won't eat it, whether adults or kittens. I buy frozen whole prey for them from Rodent Pro. Even then they may take a while to accept something they didn't kill for themselves.

@DuaneCates As for making guns at home, you don't even need a fancy 3D printer to do it.AK-47 made from a shovel. https://thechive.com/2012/12/06/apparently-you-can-make-an-ak-47-out-of-just-about-anything-25-photos/

@Debradelai @polymt Exactly. This is what can happen when you don't air-gap your SCADA networks. There is NO REASON any critical process control systems should have email or internet access. They should be completely autonomous so they can carry on uninterrupted when some user on the business network just can't resist clicking a malicious link or opening a malicious email attachment.

@Momma_Voke @LakePacificLover @DuaneCates @drawandstrike @timr Anyone who thinks ANYTHING they store on ANY cloud service is safe, secure, and private is hopelessly naive. There is no cloud, it's just somebody else's computer. And if it's in the cloud it's in the wind.

@Jaime @watch4thedrop @umad80 That looks like a "slow feeder" hay net. Horses are made to eat small amounts constantly and the net helps to simulate grazing-type consumption. Their stomachs produce acid continuously and if they're not always eating it contributes to ulcers.Slow feeding is also necessary if a horse is insulin-resistant or has PPID (Cushing's disease).
