another interesting thing about british baseball. a lot of people, even in the rookie leagues, have beautiful vintage gloves. i have an immaculate 80s SSK outfield glove i got for under £30. i reckon a lot of yuppies and boomers went to the states when they were younger, saw an MLB game, bought a $200 glove, kept it on the mantelpiece for 40 years, then died or moved into a home or need to declutter, so all these pristine high-end vintage gloves end up on ebay for peanuts

i know of a couple of trans doctors in my town but otherwise, all the trans people i know either work entry-level jobs or have careers in tech. there doesn't seem to be an in-between. wheres the trannies with decent careers as therapists and social workers or running successful landscaping businesses
