       @mauve The fact that Bing Chat uses emojis only makes this worse.  People want to ascribe feelings to the robots because people have feelings, we do it to everything. I've put "please" in my prompts because I'm a dummy who is trying to be polite when talking to a machine that has the empathetic capacity of a toaster.

       @mauve Usually 1 window visible per screen, 2 if I need to look at both of them, many virtual desktops to switch between (macOS).  Oddly I don't make use of virtual desktops on Windows which I suspect is because I don't have the quick gesture control to get to it over there... But my Windows machine has two monitors so it works out reasonably with my work on the desktop.

       Affinity's lack of support for variable fonts has started to impact my work to the point where in order to work around it I would need a Glyphs license to export cuts of typefaces I need to use which is unfortunately a complete waste of my time and money.I may come crawling back to Adobe yet which makes me... unhappy.

       @mauve I’ve figured out a workaround for this new WebRecorder logo!  Adobe is reportedly shaking in their boots — or at least they would be if they hadn’t bought Figma I guess.Glyphs is font authoring software, TBH I barely know how to use it but I made a typeface with it once in the before times.System font stack is underrated but IMO bad for consistency between design & dev?  If you don’t need that it can be a good choice.  Also check out Comic Neue or Shantell Sans ;P
