@stux I'm still on Twitter as I have been for the last two years -- private account, no followers, not posting, following only city services and political representatives (and a handful of reasonable commentary). So I'm up on the news that actually matters to me, and nothing else.Oh, and using only a browser with ad-blockers and privacy extensions. Maximum benefit for me, minimum for them.

@LauraJMG @mekkaokereke The people controlling "the news media" often /are/ "the powerful". They're the ones who dictate which stories are published, not the people writing the stories (who are likely more on the side of the afflicted).

@KimPerales Article 3, Section 1 says SCJs "shall hold their offices during good behaviour". If Congress can define "militia" for the purposes of 2A, they can define "good behaviour" for this.
