@signalapp so Signal, when do you want to develop an API for federated servers?

@aral I'm not white, but I did see racism against white people, so how do I fit in your category? In fact, if we want to be honest here, your toot is racist because you categorized people based on their skin color.

@rjrjr @friendlymike before renaming to Firefly I had all the releases in the App Tester, but I don't have 0.0.13 there! What did I miss?

@ashdavies @svenjacobs come to say this. No-framework for DI is the most stable solution.

@kmontenegro @matrix I am a fan, but I uninstalled it a while ago because it relies on technologies that are not designed to be secure despite Matrix promises to be secure. Technologies like WebRTC and VoIP I mean. Why couldn't they do it like the way that Signal did?

@hadilq @kmontenegro @matrix thanks for your response. It may be good to mention that the Signal team applied some security patches which may be missing in Element. Also after using both of them for a long time, I never had a missed call in Signal to just get my IP address, but I had more than a couple of them with Matrix from accounts I've never interact with them before.

@hadilq @matrix I understand. Maybe my end result was depending on my different usecase for them, but I still blame poor UX of Element for what happened to me. Would you deny sharing extra information, such as IP address, with any user by default? Of course after asking for permission for a specific user it's okay.

@grammargirl meanwhile the article, the toot, and all the comments are written below that level, where everyone understands each other without problem.Everyone has bias towards their own skill sets, so I recommend to ask yourself why reading skills more than 6th grade is better?

@grammargirl my bad to make a statement with "all"! You are right. But, you can learn more information by breaking them down into small pieces. It's more effective, and also, splitting information is a problem solving method that we use all over science. In fact, sentences with high complexity are even worse in transferring information.
