Have you heard of anyone developing any ideas in the field of rhetorics of economy studies? For example identifying the typical fallacy of making a statement that isn't true, but it is crafted to sound true using factual quantitative data.The closest I've seen is the well known little red book of How To Lie With Statistics, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. What I think is necessary is a study in linguistics, rhetorics, and formal logic to aid the detection of falsehoods, especially in the midst of crucial political debate.

@bob I don't know why Chelsea didn't invoke her Fifth Amendment rights, if she couldn't give testimony about other people without incriminating herself. But she must have had very good and powerful reasons to act the way she did.

@Lofenyy In my very subjective personal opinion, and assuming you must absolutely use C++:1. Better than autotools is no autotools at all.2. For medium sized projects CMake or qmake are better, if you must absolutely use something like that.Any modern scripting language can provide automation that is better than autotools for small to medium projects.3. The complexity of autotools is not justified for small projects, and for bigger projects when you need to know exactly what you're doing you don't want the extra complexity of using things like m4. Massive time waster with too many moving parts will eventually break. Guaranteed.4. qmake is licenced as LGPL, CMake is under the New BSD licence. qmake was created by the same makers of the Qt library, Qt and KDE depend on it for their build process. Very thoroughly tested. CMake has been around for 20 years and is well funded.

@vertigo The Z80 is not very RISC-y, the instruction set does too many things for an 8-bit machine. (in comparison to the 6502 for example)
