@watchfulcitizen Well, assuming todays world, I am not against what you are saying. Assuming an ideal world, there will be no government at all, and corporations are perfectly fine. However... without governments, corporations lose a lot of their power, and will be less of a problem. In an ideal libertarian world, there also won't be any regulatory capture, or lawfare, which will make it way easier for competitors to emerge. Finally, when it comes to Google, Amazon & Co, it is important to remember that no one is forced to do business or use those services. I do not use google and never had a facebook account. Amazon I do use for books I cannot find in my local bookstores, or local online bookstores. I get the feeling that we agree on 85%-90% of politicial questions, and I would very much prefer your world over what we have today. I also do nto like the right/left labels, because in my experience they obscure the questions and lead to needless conflict and polarization, instead of a sound discussion about specific issues.

@freepatriot This is a more interesting question that you might think. How many people in a country, can the government kill, before the people depose its rulers? I'm thinking white russian and iran here. As a percentage of the countrys entire population, what do you think? 10%, 30%, 50%?

@BrianJopek I don't see the problem. Sure, by all means, carry a gun if you want, however! Do realize, that should you be involved in some kind of incident with the police (or these ICE agents) rightfully, or wrongfully, just having that weapon on you represents a risk to the police and the risk to yourself will significantly increase. I am in favour of guns and concealed carry, but at the end of the day, it is _your_ decision, and _you_ take the (sad) consequences of that decision. But that being said however, these guys who perforated the nurse with 10 bullets (or what ever the bullet count is) should by now be off duty and being investigated by a neutral party, and if in the wrong, should be punished.

But know that even if it is not possible for you to bring the world about, right now, you can still liberate yourself, by pushing down your taxes towards 0%, thus, "starving the beast". So I always recommend fellow libertarians to engage in aggressive tax planning and structure their lives so that they do not contribute to what they are fighting against.

@watchfulcitizen There is no "fix" for the beast. You need to work high and low, utilizing everything you can to cut down the tree. Det går utmärkt att undvika och/eller minimera skatt i sverige. Det gäller bara att vara lite kreativ och släppa tanken på att man prompt måste bo i sverige på papperet. Det går utmärkt att skriva dig i utlandet och sen bo i sverige ändå. Då har du stora möjligheter att sänka skatten enormt mycket.

One favourite drink this winter is the Lumumba! I love the fact that a chocolate based drink is named after a negro. It should be possible to piss off overly woke and stupid bartenders by ordering lumumbas. @ChrisMayLA6 The dirty little secret is that the Europe will be just fine. WIth 450 million people, against russias 160 or so, and with an economy that is 15x larger, there is no way russia will ever be able to beat europe. What would happen, if europe was serious, is that all western european nations, would send 35% of their armed forces to the eastern front, and that would be the end of russia. Add to that, fighter jets and submarines that are some of the most advanced on the planet (thinking of Saab Jas Gripen, and the swedish submarine that sunk american boats during a Nato exercize some years ago) and russia has no chance. The fact that our politicians, and population still hunker down with fear of Putin shows us how brilliant they are at psychological warfare. But just as it was discovered that russia was far weaker when the iron curtain fell and the soviet union collapsed (they found fake planes to make russia look stronger for instance) we will again see how weak russia really is, ince it comes tumbling down again. The tsars fell, the communists fell, and eventually Putin will also fall.
