       @Nonilex Well it is. It was the 11th hour, but they got there.The blocked Russian money was never a realistic option, but the northern countries desperately wanted to avoid Euro bonds. It is a relief that they finally realized they had no alternative.

       @Nonilex What a traitor to democracy she is! The Nobel committee should immediately retract the prize.It never ceases to amaze the things people will do for power. We think the Lord of the Rings is fantastic hyperbole, but what people do in reality to get a taste of power, shames every writer that ever tried to describe it.

       @Nonilex This whole sanctioning Russian oil thing has become another massive self dealing racket. I understand that Ukraine is happy about it, but it has nothing to do with them, Trump is just happy that he has an excuse for his own corruption.

       @Nonilex Yeah..it would kind of be.important news, if the real danger of Trump and MAGAts wasn't much worse. As it stands this is just diverting attention from his daily crimes of corruption and othering.So right now, this is for me completely non interesting. Good people can worry about this when the MAGAts regime has been completely defeated.

       @Nonilex Something that I said two weeks ago. The Democrats don't have real leverage, because they let the DHS bill be split apart from the other appropriations. The executive will just continue funding what they want from DHS from BBB money or the Pentagons slush funds.If the Democrats had not allowed the split and it would have been a broader shutdown, then they would have had at least some leverage and a real fight.And, I suspect, they didn't want that.
