@ThePlant 13 millions of users scattered in 20k communities federated in the fediverse are not "a little corner", but a "community of communities" deserving respect. I will continue to interact with more people than I can deal with in a "Big Corner" made of 20k platforms, and I won't feel excluded if they won't be 20001, or if my ego won't be able to count to a fake exposition to a big audience, filtered by monetization algorithms and private interests. Ma allora è l’Ucraina che vuole entrare nell’Europa sposando i principi di pace dei suoi trattati o è l’Europa che vuole entrare in Ucraina (e in guerra) perché l’europeismo che ha fatto raffreddare la guerra fredda adesso piace meno dell’atlantismo che ce la ripropone come minestra riscaldata e surriscaldata, dove il ricorso disumano al nucleare diventa più accettabile chiamandolo “nucleare tattico” e occultando che anche le testate più piccole sono più potenti del “Little Boy” di Hiroshima?

@BeAware we're in a safe heaven, but the safety is not against privacy, but against the bad practices of commercial companies running other spaces of online communication. Here we don't have content filtering, monetization of hate speech, mass profiling, data harvesting.
