@pecet left/right auto hide + made as tiny as I can.I stopped using it years ago, replaced by Launchpad 4-finger grab and Cmd-Tab (+ mouse sometimes) for what is in effect a much better Dock.(I do sometimes use Dock's menus)

@pecet I've always had Displays as a single space, so haven't suffered from jumping-Dock syndrome.For Window selection, Slide-4-fingers-down, is fine for me. These things are all habits. If you're used to one, it's hard to switch to another.

@lamp Upload and download speeds are usually different. Upload being slower. Also, it depends on what you're sending/downloading. Thousands of little files, or just one big file? Each file gets sent/verified/ok'd/rejected. The best way to test is with a large zip file, which is treated as a single file, even though it may contain thousands.

@strypey @Sheril I've only ever used iPhones ... but the first time an app tries to access the mic, or camera or anything else, you are asked if you want to allow it.Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if >90% of users just click 'OK' without even reading the dialog, or even less likely, thinking about what it means.FWIW, I have never and will never use anything made by Meta (or a few others). You can still get by!!
