       @jhx I just run the defaults and apmd. I only use that machine for tinkering and compiling stuff. A physical container if you will.

       I've been thinking about trying out FreeBSD. The only thing I don't really fancy is the need for manually installing drm-kmod and the audio keys not working out of the box like with wscons and sndiod on OpenBSD. But Jails, ZFS, and bhyve, Wayland (I know) are basically ENOENT on OpenBSD. The other things I don't like are 32-bit compatibility layers which I consider unnecessary, PF being junk on FreeBSD and freebsd-update not being straightforward as sysupgrade. I guess that I have to make some trade-offs. #FreeBSD #OpenBSD

       And of course there is Bastille which works like podman/docker but with Jails (or so I heard). I quite like that since I use containers/chroots to test something because I don't want my host system to get cluttered with dependencies and unused packages.

       Can any OpenBSD person help me with this error? I am trying to install OpenBSD 7.4 and it always fails to install the bootloader. I could install OpenBSD 7.3 (when it was released) but now I can't install 7.4. Should I email misc@? I'd appreciate if somebody could help me.#OpenBSD

       I am so mad right now. I had to purchase a litre of water for £3 since the water coming out of the tap in the restroom is hot. B'ham airport sucks.
