@chybnej @calculsoberic @tomjennings @48kRAM I gave up and have a Firefox extension that denies over 95% of the pop ups I've encountered. A good idea, horribly implemented (by the EU law) which basically defeated the original purpose as people will more often than not click "the easiest button given to them" (often an accept all). Some sites are shadier than others and still within the regulation/law. :/

@lowqualityfacts the insect revolt could happen, but you're gonna need to inject a lot more oxygen in the atmosphere and wait a few million years! I don't know if we want a car-sized bug!

@friendlymike I'm not 100% sure if this works for these particular bugs, but burying a glass with beer overnight tends to trap a lot of bugs attracted to CO². You have to keep replacing it but the good news is, bugs don't care if it's cheap beer :)We use small Nutella glasses. Bury until the edge is near the ground and partially pour some beer.

@bart @don_atoms @marcprux @fdroidorg you cannot expect billions of devices to "stop using Android", don't be a clown. Also what do you expect billions of users to do? Install Linux on their phones? And then what? You can't even make phone calls.

@Suiseiseki @fdroidorg @don_atoms @bart @marcprux please read the thread. As a Linux user I expect you can read before typing. What in the thread makes you think for a moment I don't know Android runs a Linux kernel? What part of "you can install Linux on Android" solves the problem for billions of Android users glued to Instagram 24/7 or having to use their banking apps? Thank you for making sure we know all this I guess.
