@judell Oh wait, I misread it. He totally missed the point of the trust thing.And that point is that lots of coders don't do code review, or run linters or unit tests or automation tests. And I can't believe they're going to start now just because they have an LLM to "write the code" for them.I honestly don't know how to respond to any of these "The LLM wrote all my code for me!" posts.

@Cassana @grammargirl @CiaraNi I honestly don't see anything problematic in that URL, other than the period at the end. It's very straightforward. I would expect it to sound fine in a screen reader.We're talking about people who can understand bibliographies here. Why do we assume they can't understand a simple URL?

To the people trying to make #e14n happen, as an abbreviation for #enshittification I find these abbreviations with numerals in the middle (also e.g. i18n, a11y) completely opaque and impossible to remember. They don't do what you think they do.[Edited to change il8n to i18n, because even in this post I forgot how it works!]#linguistics

@blogdiva I've always found the appropriation of small country TLDs creepy. Even using privileged country TLDs like del.icio.us was stupid.It was mildly amusing once or twice for a joke, but for an actual ongoing production pattern it's a disgrace.
