anyone got any recommendations for email servers that work with mutt? technically i can use gmail but i would rather not make my google account any more of a single point of failure than i need to.paid options are ok i just want to be able to use mutt (so no tutanota)

@swashberry no, i agree, education doesn't actually cost what the sticker price says. and debt forgiveness is not a long term solution to that problem. but covid did hit a lot of people hard and i don't oppose my tax money going towards making this whole situation a little less awful for students who are exploited by the system.you're welcome to stand by your conviction, but... really, no one will fault you. it's been hard for everyone. you're not stupid for wanting an education.

@godcock don't tell people to kill themselves in an argument about weight loss, that's in bad taste@sotolf it's true that calories matter a great deal in one's health journey, but it's not the only story. exercise plays a large part. if you don't have muscle mass, your fat reserves are less accessible, so rather than burning fat, your body just makes you tired so you spend less energy. what works for you might not work for others for that reason

@sotolf of course i can't discount the possibility that your friends are simply miscounting, but the human body is interesting and complicated, so there could in fact be a lot of reasons why they are not losing the weightbut regardless, i am glad your weight loss journey is going well. i think in the end the most important thing is to pay close attention to your body and try a lot of things
