There’s a lot of hate for modern art, but think of it like this: If you’ve seen every realistic painting there is to see, at the highest level it can be done, what is there left to do? Do you just look at more realistic paintings for the next 1000 years? Yeah they’re pretty, but do they say anything anymore? Do you truly enjoy it? A lot of people pine for the bottom painting, but if that was all you had anywhere, I think you could understand why people would try to deviate.

@mischievoustomato Good taste. I agree.You also see this with rw. In the beginning, everything was Hitler and Jesus and then it got more creative. By 2020 you get BidenRapeGroyper. By 2024 you get MinionVance. You could say it’s evolving and also deconstructing itself. Coming down from the highest point while still carrying its ideals and beauty (and fun) down to something more Earth-level. More relatable.
