Was just discussing Boolean AND and OR with the kids. I have a memory of their meaning being inverted when I first learned about it. But Google says no, and means all criteria apply for a match and or is some criteria apply. Am I having a Mandela effect moment? Didn’t it used to be the opposite?

We have had squatters in a house across the street for a while. Things came to a head when the owner of a very derelict property tried to get them thrown out. Apparently the owner paid them, and they moved out. Meanwhile my neighbors are freaking out. “Squatters!” I mean, unoccupied housing in Oakland… That property had squatters before and if left alone it will again. These people are not about to menace my society. Let people live. Especially in empty housing.
