Any users of the Brave browser know anything about the Brave advertisers? I did see Kahn Academy come up once, but very few ads come close to anything that would interest me. I would like to see Brave gain a foothold, but they seem to have difficulty attracting advertisers many would find appealing. Chicken and egg problem?

@leo I suppose, but Brave supposedly is less reliant on personal information and allows revenue to compensate providers. I see pure ad blocking as unethical.

Feeling brave with two shots. First time sitting in a coffee shop in a year. Baby steps.

@obihahn - the CNN data shows "Sixty-six percent say Roe v. Wade should not be completely struck down, and 59% would support Congress passing legislation to establish a nationwide right to abortion, including 81% of Democrats, 65% of independents and 30% of Republicans, the survey finds."You seem surprised that Republicans have shown little change. The key here is the 66% who support Roe. All citizens counthttps://www.cnn.com/2022/05/06/politics/cnn-poll-abortion-midterms-roe-v-wade/index.html

@anornymorse I agree with the spectable of the Jan 6 hearing. We should have a DOJ trial coming up as a replay.

@leo we have visited Alaska four times, but we took the ferry out of Bellingham. Great photo opportunities.

@wjmaggos I guess, but arguments that ignore the facts don’t deserve serious consideration. This is the same as suggesting news sources consider both sides of every story.

@leo @leolaporte - I have been posted to Pixelfed for several years. It is a different crowd than Instagram, but quality of the tech and photography are great. Seems more about the photos than the social.

@anornymorse there plenty more characters allowing you to provide evidence for your claim. Can you?

@anornymorse Information bubble implies there is information I have not encountered. This is what I was requesting from some who make claims without evidence or in ways ignoring obvious facts. I request evidence and some attack me as being uninformed. This seems strange.

@Jbat I would prefer to focus rather than expand the “knowledge” base. There are few controls on the quality of the entire internet.

Assisting the government in understanding technological advances was once a commitment.
