@lowqualityfacts yep. Wouldn't hurt if most of these people looked in the mirror occasionally too. Stopping at calling them hypocrites would be polite and very restrained.

@feinzer @atomicpoet @Suoko I can see them doing this for sure, but hopefully by the time this happens I've managed to convert most of my friends and family to a less moderated, more open ActivityPub server that doesn't pump them full of ads, sell their data, or dictate the rules of their conversations.

@evan I chose somewhat agree, but feel closer to strongly agree. I see this as very similar to hashtags in bio's etc. If you support a cause, you should understand what is being done in its name. I've been called out too many times for NOT supporting a cause with people demanding an explanation, but every time I knew more about what was being done in the name of that cause than the people demanding my explanation.If people feel strongly enough to protest, they should be informed.
