When we came to Finland, I did not expect to be impressed by the pizza. (Since I became an Italian, I'm a little picky that way.😉) But this pizza with reindeer salami hit my spot. Danced on it. Then picked it up and twirled it around.

@stux There was a big class action suit over privacy issues that ended in a settlement recently. I got an email this week that my settlement would be transferred to my PayPal account. A whopping $30 and change. Couldn't think of a more appropriate use for it!

It's impossible to face the end of the year without some reflection, and I'm just glad 2025 is over. It was fucking exhausting! But while it started out badly for me on a personal level, things got better. The olive harvest sucked, but we spent a thoroughly pleasant summer and fall in our newly-repaired house. My mom broke several more bones, but had Christmas at home and is doing pretty well. I'm lucky to be ringing in 2026 in one of my favorite places in the world, with the love of my life.
