       @Wolven @steveportigal what I have heard Paul Offit say in the past is that a 3 vaccine series is sufficient to protect most people (at 90+% protection). The evidence shows that further boosters provide no long term benefit, but might (if well enough matched) provide short term benefit for up to 4 months. But, in the case of older/immunocompromised people, the boosters definitely help, so let’s prioritize them.

       @simon @slott56 @doug LLMs are a 3cm star key with four universal joints and a finicky electric drill attached. They can be used for very specific tasks with a lot of work and careful monitoring. It has no place on the public internet, or for generating content. If you have an analysis use case where it can generate domain specific insights from data, have at it, but you’d best double check the results.

       @futurebird I made the argument to a friend that the only way I could see Harris win would be for Biden to resign so that she had a few months as president before the election, but I don’t see him doing that.
