       @grammargirl I had a moment of bemusement when I read that too. Perhaps they were thinking people might be confusing it with "the public square," especially considering how many people comment on Twitter being the modern-day equivalent of the public square.

       There's something that bothers me, but I don't know if that's justified. I may need @grammargirl to weigh in.Is the word "perspective" valid in reference to non-living (or even abstract) things? Ex.:"This project is problematic from a budget perspective."I feel like the use of "perspective" here isn't /right,/ but it's used so frequently that I'm not sure.
