Running Mobian with Debian Trixie 13.0 on Librem 5 and yet have to find anything wrong that would want me to switch back to Debian 11 based Byzantium PureOS. On the surface it appears identical with a few more options and slightly different default settings. Kinda diapppointed Mobian doesnt install openvpn plugin as default for the image. Instead only wireguard is default, i mean comeon 8)

For mobian on Librem 5 I was not able to find any encrypted install images using LUKS as default. What is your approach to take the image file and flash as an encrypted image to the phone? As in full disk encryption.#mobian #librem 5 #linux #linux on mobile

@vacuumbeef damn that is awesome! seems really intuitive, how do you prevent them from being triggered when you scroll in a browser page up down but diagonally if user isnt using precise scrolling touch input

@sonny @verdre amazing! While there are not as many Sailfish OS apps many of them are quite nice and it would be great for the linux mobile phone community to have access to as many apps as possible and remove the OS fragmentation- would it be easier or harder to get these apps to run in Arch or other mobile linux distributions? As far as i know there is no effort to port SFOS apps over..

@phoronix not sure I like that direction, there are plenty of cases or modern systems that only support EFI, e.g. install Linux on a MacPro T2 with Intel chip. Runs only with EFI boot (Ubuntu installed in my case)
