@CliffWade i don’t *know* that I’ve had Covid. I have reason to suspect that i contracted it, was barely symptomatic, and gave it to @norgralin (we live together)This was in the early months before home tests were readily available. So we weren’t able to confirm it. Though the medical line he called seemed to agree that his symptoms were consistent with COVID.

@rolle But also, it’s kinda false? I remember some posts for years after the last time I’ve seen them. There’s this one post on tumblr, highlighting (somewhat literally) that the 13th amendment has “except as punishment for a crime” as a clause. And to this day, I remember that post when watching/engaging with conversations about prison labor. Things still exist in our minds even after the trending period is over. Much like the memories of loved ones after someone dies.

@linuxtechmore At least for me, one of the reasons it took so long is inertia. Firefox is a lot better now than it was when I last had it installed, when I'd gotten frustrated enough to switch.Granted, they've definitely flipped ranking in my mind, but I didn't even think to look into if it improved until recently.I imagine there's at least been an uptick recently, with the notoriety google's been gaining recently. Even still, I wouldn't be surprised if people look for option 3 first.

@futurebird Conceptually, I would have picked battery life, but I have external batteries I carry around, and I can get better ones if they start failing.Basically, I already tend to try to compensate for decreasing battery life as far as I can before I get a new one. (There’s also the fact that it does degrade.)Of the ones left, taking prettier pictures appeal to me the most.
