@wolf480pl @cjd@pkteerium.xyz @FabLabMuc Ah, now I see where you're coming from!I'm not a mechanical engineer, so I can't speak to the properties of CF FDM versus CF Resin... when I need strong parts I just machine them out of metal 😅 Also, keep in mind, I have no idea of the fibers sticking out are a (health) issue at all, I was just very surprised by them. I can't imagine being exposed to them is good for you, but I simply have no knowledge in that regard.

Holy shit the phone market is fucked up. Looks like my pixel 4a is starting to act up so I was looking for an alternative. 6" or smaller, Android, not a samsung (I just dislike their UI), 3.5 mm jack and boom you're at 500 or more euro!Maybe it finally is time to buy a dumb phone but even those are a few 100€ for basic features.

TIL:It takes a whole bunch of effort to ignite titanium. I had a nice birdsnest from the lathe, that was impossible to ignite in air, and took considerable effort under a direct oxygen stream!I guess I can work a lot more relaxed with my small scale stuff, it's not going to go thermonuclear unexpectedly. I wonder when "winter time ads" will stop featuring snow. It's been well over a decade since we've had good snow in the city, except for one year when it snowed enough during one weekend that it lasted until christmas. Now our winters are just gray, cloudy and full of fog. Which sure is a mood, and kinda nice for a few days, but not for a month or two without pause :/

The more I learn about chilis the more I get to appreciate their individualities. For cooking I mostly prefer thai chilis, because their heat feels like a warm embrace, it's a full body kind of thing! When it comes to the superhots I really like the ghost peppers fruityness, and the carolina reaper is pretty good "overall".Habaneros however, I don't like. They just taste like dirt.
