Tatiana Maslany's performance is exceptional. Everybody keeps saying that you keep forgetting she plays all those different characters, because it is true, you forget. All clone characters are so different, but also such completely formed individuals, that each could be the central character of their own tv show. @feld I've lost whole posts I typed on Friendica because of this. I've learned to do select-all-copy before I go and get a link or check something. Weirdly not all websites have this problem, some retain all you've typed after a reload, so there seems to be a way. I think they store input fields, browse position, etc in local storage, like apps do.I thought I remembered that Pleroma didn't have the problem, but a quick check suggests that it does, as does Mastodon.

@anders there are various similar settings, but it's my belief that the ones that do what you ask are the "Clean database" checkbox under "Admin>Site>Performance" and the two lifespans underneath that.

I dislike that Gandi (the domain, email and web hosting provider) still hasn't responded to my support question, over a week after I sent it. I have already sent a follow up. @feld Thanks, I've bookmarked it. Though for being a 'search client' rather than 100% using their own index, the price is a bit high. I suspect they can lose access to the data any moment. Luckily their AI/LLM costs extra, so you can just not pay that to avoid that.

The seasons are indeed different from each other, but that's a good thing I think.Another singing thing in this series: at some point Liv was singing and I tried to look up who they used to dub the voice because it sounded so good. Yeah, Mastodon's Unlisted is such a misnomer. My biggest gripe with it is that it mainly means "unsearchable".And you can't really change that on a server, since that would mean that people who did mean "unsearchable" when they chose "unlisted", suddenly find their posts showing up in searches without their consent...Friendica meanwhile shows threads as threads, but without the collapsing which would be very useful.RE: mamot.fr/users/pluralistic/sta…
