@simon those are sea otters (genus enhydra) and not otters (genus lutra). Even a lot of humans get this wrong, but not "bird" wrong!

@simon @mhoye I often see that the answer to any Mastodon "How do I do this link/reference thing to a toot that seems trivial and works on Twitter" question is "You can't do that, and that's by design to stop [insert abusive social media behaviour trope here]".
