Having watched Frozen everyday for a month now, I've become something of an expert on the matter.The first time you watch it, it seems like the parents are doing an okay job, but really the parents managed to damage both children.They spend all their time with Elsa, but their only advice is to not show emotion and hide from the world. Meanwhile Anna gets completely abandoned and grows up in complete isolation because they don't want anyone in the castle for fear they'll discover Elsa.

It's no wonder Elsa as an adult is completely afraid of her own powers and Anna is so desperate for connection that she latches on to the first person she meets.
