       @stux of all those, I don't remember rolling straps, and if my hand is full, I am more likely to use my elbow. In the United States, we mostly have the kind of knobs that you grab and twist, though now that I've developed a disability, levers are much better. Also, lifting up one foot to open a door would now kill me.When my kid was little I would schedule an hour to go ona 10 minute walk because from the time he could walk, he had to balance on anything he could balance to walk on.

       @KarenKasparArt they are! I even have a couple of little concave boulders that have thin copper tubes leading from the drip irrigation to keep them full. The birds and insects love them.
