@kev@codesectionsI would use signal more, even with its issues, if the desktop experience wasn't so awful.The application takes minutes to load, if you have a bunch of messages to read, and you can't interact until it fetched them all. It also leaks memory like a sieve, and doesn't stay in the tray properly on Linux unless you're running unity or you change the startup options via CLI. Desktop gets a second-rate experience, and that's what I primarily use :/

@fatboy one of the guys who helped me cut my teeth on the free software world was a big BSD guy who swore by enlightenment. This was back in 2007 or so, mind you.I was completely dazzled by the way he could manipulate windows and accomplish tasks with just a few keystrokes. One of my earliest exposures to how much of a different world it is from the mouse-based Windows that most people are accustomed to.

@naughtrobot date nights with the wife have taught me to reflexively put my phone face-down on the table whenever we eat. I just do it now at every meal, even alone, without having to think about it.I will totally admit that is easier for a nearly-forty year old man than it would be for kids though :)

@jex as far as nginx goes, I can't really recommend anything.But Zabbix makes gathering CPU/memory/etc statistics and graphs a snap.
