"Private hospitals have been banned in #Ontario since 1971. Under the law, those grandfathered in -- Shouldice (hernias), Bellwood Health (addictions) and Clearpoint (surgical) were not to be expanded. So *how* has the #DougFord govt managed to increase funding to the for-profit Clearpoint hospital by 278%, especially since there's surgery capacity at public hospitals left unused??If there are rules, there should be enforcement.
