       @Popehat Yes, lower voices tend to be used for darker subject matter. In opera, they often play the villains. Higher voices tend to be used for the protagonists.

       @Em0nM4stodon @jgkelley I got 16 out of 23, but I’m a middle administrator. We don’t use this particular monitoring product, but all products are similar. They objectively alert to words that *might* be used inappropriately and then provide the context in which the terms were used. The school’s administration makes a decision on whether to intervene.

       @grammargirl I can’t recommend a coffee subscription service highly enough. Trade and Atlas are great choices. Beans are roasted specifically for your order and that makes a huge difference. If you have a Lowe’s Foods nearby, you can usually find relatively fresh roasted beans there, too.
