I'm here for almost an year and never did an #introduction so here it goes.I'm a Brazilian Jewish person living in Brazil's northeast, in a city of rich cultural history and big social problems, like most of the country.I have a varied background due different hyperfocuses during the years. One of the things that never changed is my passion for computers and art. I grew up around computers, I learned to use them before I could read, and a few years later I was already making games on flash to entertain myself and my friends. After I while I discovered the world of academic competitions in school, and was very interested in the doors it could open to myself. During this time I learned embedded systems, from the mechanics of the robot to the software that was controlling it.It was also around this time that I was starting to see the world of physics and specially mathematics with different eyes, mostly due to the perspective that programing gave me. I was able to build simulations for things, visually see and understand physical concepts.I always understood computers as a means which I could express myself, in whichever I was doing. Building art with blender and a wacom tablet, or doing a programing exercise to improve my skills for the next big contest.I fell in cybersecurity mostly by accident, I applied for a software engineering internship and got assigned instead for the company's Red Team. I quickly realised that it was a great area to work on and got a little upset that I never gave much attention to it before.During high school I was encouraged by my Portuguese teacher to start a personal journal. At the same time I was also spending considerable time online reading and writing on reddit. Somehow those things were the most formative to my writing and inspired me to start writing A LOT.I'm having a great time at mastodon so far, I've met very nice and interesting people, while also using a "social network" that doesn't try to capture my attention as much as possible.Hope you're having a good day and thank you folks for this amazing place online :)

And about animals, I like frogs and I'm a tutor to three cats, one of them is probably my profile pic at any given time.
