Fact of the day:ISO3103 is the International Standard covering the serving of tea. It's there to ensure consistency in taste testing.Key points:- Pot should be porcelain or earthenware- Milk should be added AFTER hot waterIreland were the only country to object on its submission, noting there was no provision for pot-warming in the specification.This was overruled.

Meet Cecilia.Turned up desperately ill, dehydrated and starving on our doorstep a while ago.Now recovering well from major surgery to remove a huge polyp (hence the still slightly closed eye), thanks to Cats Protection's help.We've agreed she can move in permanently. 🐈She and Napoleon will be introduced slowly. Both are pretty un-territorial, they'll adjust to each other.No way we were going to leave her without a perma-home, after she'd already been abandoned once as a kitten. #cats

Yeeeah.After lots of possible failure point elimination yesterday, I think it's new motherboard time.Tested different SSDs and RAM with fresh installs of Windows each time and fully up-to-date drivers. Issue of multiple BSODs, all memory access related, returns.Dmp files not showing a program consistently causing the issue, either.Couple that with a RAM stick randomly failing last week, and that increasingly says 'board issue' to me.

@BernardSheppard yeah.my thinking there is that if ii get a new motherboard/cpu and t's the PSU, well at least i ended up with useful upgrades.whereas if i get a PSU first and it's the motherboard, i've ended up with a redundant PSU.

@schmerg i'll try this. i did wonder about a dodgy DIMM slot, which is why i've been rotating through them with a a single 16gb stick - changing the stick between a previous and also a new one - to test.no harm in doing this as well though.

Well that was fun. One of my sticks of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 just nuked itself on stream.Good job I speak BIOS beep.
