@stux @Grutjes Ik zag volgens mij ergens voorbij komen hoe je van server wisselt zonder meteen al je contacten kwijt te raken. Dit weekend eens gaan proberen.

@baltussen @stux I am still on the Mastodon.social, but for Dutch users, make sure to support a one-off donation with Ideal. If others are like me, we would like to have control of when money goes out of our bank account. This is much easier with a one-off donation that a monthly, automatic donation. Wikipedia sends out a reminder every year, which works for me. When I still use the site and have the financial means, I will then donate.

@stux The server issues due to the massive influx of users to Mastodon in the past days seem to have been resolved already. Excellent job!

@stux I have seen people comment "wait until Mastodon" is taken over by another rich guy. I don't think they have understood how Mastodon works... 🙂
