@BrodieOnLinux GNOME has been a dumpster fire when it comes to stupid dependencies also. Like why does a desktop environment need a specific init system to be installable? That is just madness and abuse.I am not just against systemd just to be clear, but redhat itself. They have a lot of broken linux frameworks that shouldn't have been adopted.I don't know if you feel this way, but just sayin:once is an accidenttwice is happenstancethird is deliberatefourth is GNOME policy.

@BrodieOnLinux Enterprise support would make sense for that, but anything else would probably violate the GPL and other licensing. At that point, they are just another redhat.

@BrodieOnLinux I wonder why the linux community couldn't have instead done an OpenBSD and made their own Xenocara like structure for linux. Instead of remaking the wheel altogether. It just seems weird.

@kaia I agree with that. Gnome 2 and newer look ugly.I don't know what the obsession is with eye candy besides that corporations know that people like it and that it enables non-technical people to use it while also ensuring more people know less about how their software and hardware work.Which is why corporations and rightly so, realize that the more flashy the eye candy, the more they can get away with devious stuff in the background. Its rather infuriating... :(

@kaia Even Lumina Desktop is too bloated for me to be honest. But it is the least aggravating desktop environment, due to not needing so many bloated linux frameworks.LXDE, noXFCE, noLXQT, hell noMATE, Hell NO!KDE,GNOME3, drugs required to think its worth anything!Cinnamon, Budgie, Unity, GNOME4 and worse meaning "bloat"Yeah let's pretend those desktop environments never were created
