Please, please caption your images. When I got here early last month the majority of images were captioned. Now the local timeline is mostly uncapped. Ask how if you're not sureRelated - the official Mastodon app makes this harder than it should be do this (and is missing some other functionality makes Mastodon enjoyable - the local timeline being the big one)Consider changing to Metatext if you're iOS or Tusky if you're Android (or just using the web interface)#MastoDaoine #IrishTwitter

@Mac_CZ you do what you like, pet. I'm asking people to try to remember to be inclusive.It's very intuitive to add alt/text captions to images using Tusky. It's very little extra effort. It makes me really think about what I'm posting. AND it helps people who are visually impaired be included. I forget sometimes and someone's posted a reminder bot. Wins all round in my book.Guess I've reached the "don't make me think about other people" corner of mastodon. Hi there 😘😘
