@bitcoinmagazine As a Returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer who served in El Salvador (1998 - 2000), and as someone who has also performed in the capacity of doing Strategy / Business Development work for one of the top crypto-fiat exchanges in the U.S., I only hope someone in U.S. government is listening a little to what she and President Bukele of El Salvador have to say on monetary policy. Sadly, the U.S. is far behind El Salvador and has created vicious anti-crypto & anti-free trade laws. 😞

@hn50 Maybe not yet singularity, but whoever designs the AI that is designed to design the major ML program w/ AGI, they will basically be "setting the rules" for a big part of society's future. @anornymorse I see... I'm guessing there might be a way to initiate prosecution against legislators who cause that to be signed into law to be actually tried and prosecuted for war crimes (in some international court), but I don't think it would stick - these legislators think they are above the law. Life means nothing to them. I have no clear answer for how to get rid of the legislators that have approved things like this, and who continue to approve stuff like this. Law doesn't give a remedy.

@HitterNeverQuitter I will be more impressed if they do something like copy El Salvador's monetary policy.Russia, China, and USA are just a military conglomerate working together, a backwards gang of grabbers, grabbing and grasping at uranium, oil and coal. Real innovators are working on participating in #bitcoin and liberating the new system for the world.

For another, secp256k1, which was used in bitcoin, Hal Finney (R.I.P.) described sec256k1 as "a variant on a so-called Koblitz curve, and 1 means it is the first (and only) curve of that type in the standard." Thx to Greg Maxwell & Pieter Wuille who implemented Schnorr in libsecp256k1.
