@fosserytech Looking good! I have a hobby website hosted on Github Pages, and have recently looked at Codeberg, but I can't see any way to upload existing files (html/css/png) to the repository. In Github, it's easy to drag and drop the files. Admittedly I'm more familar with the Github setup, maybe I'm missing something. #website #github #codeberg

@fosserytech What does that actually do? Do the files stay on Github, or are they just mirrored somehow? 🤔

@fosserytech @Codeberg Hey, thanks for that information. I guess I'll have to do more reading up on Codeberg, not that I'm unhappy with Github - far from it - but it's always interesting to check out alternatives. 🙂

@stevenroose @thunderbird Can you not do this in the config editor? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-date-time-formats-thunderbird #thunderbird

@fosserytech After more research, I discovered that when I created the new repository, I hadn't checked/ticked the 'Initialize Repository' box. Now I've done that, the options to upload are visible and I uploaded my website files, although I had to upload them in stages as Codeberg wouldn't accept the upload all at once. Anyway, now I know, no problem. 🙂

@redstarfish Unfortunately that address format (male given name -at- family name) is probably guaranteed to attract spammers.#domain #email
