Like let’s put it this way - if you were in a support group for survivors of child abuse (beatings, physical branding, csa, young carers who had no choice, alcoholic or junkie parents ect.) and some kid showed up who was upset because another kid blew up their Minecraft server, would that be acceptable?

@Rose No I do agree. I think bullying is terrible and as a victim of it I totally understand. I just don't think the specific instance being discussed of someone's Minecraft world being griefed can count as repeated and sustained severe bullying

How can you say ruining someone’s world - in a fucking video game that isn’t real is the same as people who are heavily and repeatedly traumatised by being physically and mentally abused? “Oh they think their work is cool” great, get over it. It’s just a fucking game. Nobody is specifically harassing kids, it’s a video game designed for children. I cannot actually I’m having to explain how a video game isn’t the same as real life mental and physical abuse. “Remember what community we’re in” yeah I know, and I’m not the type to disrespect the actual struggles of irl people by comparing it to some kid being pissed off because their Minecraft world got blown up.
