@pea I wouldn’t worry about their lying bullshit claiming you’re under contract, just get PayPal and/or your bank to refund your money and find a better hosting company. This isn’t the first horror story I’ve heard about OVH. If they want to pursue the matter the burden of proof is on them that you intended to agree to a contract which they’ll never be able to do if their order site is that much of a piece of shit.

@pea why do you need a lawyer? Complain to PayPal and if PayPal won’t refund you file a chargeback with your bank. This is arguably fraud on OVH’s part and OVH would be stupid to try to sue you over it in US court.

@pea Easiest way for free plane WiFi is to use someone’s T-mobile number and after the free hour is up change your MAC address and do it again with another number. You may also need to set your user agent to a mobile device while dealing with their captive portal.

@pea So there’s estradiol valeriate which you have to inject weekly and estradiol cypionate which lasts two weeks. Cypionate doesn’t have a generic which makes it a bit more expensive, and valeriate has a few different concentrations from 10-40mg/mL. 40mg/mL is the most cost effective, but sometimes it’s on back order and 20mg/mL is more available. The only difference between the two is you need to inject twice as much of the 20mg/mL but it’s pretty basic.

@kaniini I went to a surgeon in Korea to have it done and while I’m happy with the result it was $12k on a credit card that I probably shouldn’t have spent. It was early in my transition and I was worried about my career being affected. If you have the money and the vocal dysphoria though it could be worth it. I picked the surgeon because he used a reversible technique with a permanent stitch. Sucked to have to not talk for a month after though
