When people make user-friendly software, I hate when people shit on the software. Like "why isnt shell usable?" or "i dont like gnome files" or "gnome needs extensions so dont use it". I don't care if it is a joke. It doesn't matter. Linux noobs will still take it seriously, and I do too. Calling them "the low point of the foss community" when they have made a giant platform for begginers is really low of people. Or saying "i cant use pantheon because no minimize button" ignores the fact that you can navigate the apps without any prior knowledge about them speciffically. Honestly, you don't need people to switch to bspwm, awesomewm, dwm, ytpntgdwm, or scoliososiswm, or whatever. Nobody cares. People want software that just works. And KDE Dolphin is kinda user friendly, but intimidating with all those fricking options. If you want people to switch to Linux, it better be easy. Else they won't switch. Making your software too complicated (Blender) is good once you fricking learn it. Before that, you can't really use Blender. Same for your gnhwm, it would not be usable for a beginner Linux user. And honestly, tilingwms are such a sad circlejerk. Most Linux users want to just have easy software. So why shit on it? Please stop shitting on user-friendly software.

@LinuxLounge Yes! So many people complain about every part of GNOME and do not address that GNOME is software that just works. When I first used KDE Dolphin I couldn't. There are too many options and you can't find anything. No hate to KDE, but it has too much frill to be a beginner desktop.(Also, by hating on GNOME you make new users use other things that are really hard to undersrand for a not-tech person.
